We care about your privacy
Your privacy matters to us at Houston Hype Marketing. These are the terms we work to, what we collect, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Effective 1 January 2025. These policies apply to houstonhypemarketing.com and to the work Houston Hype Marketing carries out for clients.
Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Houston Hype Marketing. By accessing and using our services you agree to these terms. They apply to every client engaging us for website design, social media management and other digital services.
2. Services provided
Houston Hype Marketing provides creative digital services including:
- Website design and development (WordPress, Shopify and other CMS platforms)
- Social media strategy and management
- Content creation, including graphics, copywriting and reels
- SEO and web optimisation
- Brand identity design and digital consultation
The scope of any engagement is defined in the onboarding brief or project agreement.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients provide accurate project details, the relevant content, and timely feedback. Delays in response or incomplete submissions may move delivery dates or result in additional fees.
4. Payment terms
A non-refundable deposit, usually 70 percent, is required before work begins. Final payment is due before final files or site access are handed over. Retainers and monthly services follow the invoicing schedule agreed in writing. Late payment may interrupt service or attract late fees.
5. Revisions and edits
Each project includes two revision rounds after initial delivery. Changes requested after final approval, or beyond the allotted rounds, are charged separately unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Either party may cancel a project with written notice. Houston Hype Marketing charges for all work completed to that point. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.
7. Ownership and usage rights
After full payment the client owns the final deliverables. Houston Hype Marketing retains the right to display finished work in portfolios, marketing material and design showcases unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
8. Limitations of liability
Houston Hype Marketing is not liable for losses resulting from delays caused by third-party services, plugin conflicts, hosting providers or client inaction. We do not guarantee exact platform results such as reach, engagement or ranking, but we do commit to best-practice execution.
9. Confidentiality
Project discussions, strategies and client data are treated as confidential. We do not share or resell your content, assets or information.
10. Communication and availability
We communicate by email, WhatsApp, or project dashboards such as Notion, Trello or ClickUp. Office hours and response times are shared during onboarding. Urgent work outside scope or hours may attract priority fees.
11. Platform dependencies
Some services, such as booking systems, SEO scores and ad campaigns, depend on external platforms that may have outages, policy changes or limitations outside our control.
12. Amendments to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updates are shared in writing. Continued use of our services confirms agreement to the revised terms.

Client Engagement Policy
1. Overview
At Houston Hype Marketing we provide digital services built on transparency, creativity and professionalism. This policy sets out how we work with clients, manage expectations, and keep communication and delivery running smoothly across web development, branding, SEO, social media and content marketing.
2. Purpose of this policy
It governs how Houston Hype Marketing engages with clients across the life of a project, covering timelines, communication, feedback, revisions, payment and the responsibilities of both sides. Working with us means agreeing to it.
3. Project scope and agreement
Before a project begins we provide a detailed proposal or scope of work setting out deliverables, timelines, milestones and costs. Once accepted, the project proceeds on those terms.
4. Communication
Project communication happens by email, video call or scheduled meeting. Clear, consolidated feedback keeps a project efficient.
5. Payments and refunds
Services are non-refundable once a project has commenced. This includes web design, content creation, digital marketing and hosting. Payments are made in milestones or as agreed in the service contract.
6. Intellectual property
On completion and full payment the client owns their website content and design deliverables, excluding proprietary elements such as internal tools, plugins or frameworks owned by Houston Hype Marketing.
7. Attribution
We reserve the right to include a small attribution link in the footer or another appropriate part of the website. This is standard industry practice and part of our branding policy.
8. Web development: duration
Web development projects usually take three to eight weeks depending on complexity, how ready the content is, and how quickly the client responds. Delays in materials or feedback extend the delivery date.
9. Web development: reviews and checkpoints
We may schedule one or two progress meetings to demonstrate work in progress, so clients can see the site before formal revisions begin.
10. Web development: revisions
Clients are entitled to two revision rounds after initial development. A revision is any requested change, update or adjustment after viewing the preview or during post-development review. Further revisions are charged at our standard rate or agreed service terms.
11. Hosting and management
Client websites are hosted on our managed platform unless the agreement says otherwise. Hosting covers basic maintenance, uptime monitoring and technical support within the chosen plan. Migration to another host is possible, subject to an administrative and transfer fee.
